Our information is compiled from publicly available sources including:
- Grants of Location requests from National Grid to the City of Newton since 2001
- National Grid Gas System Enhancement Program (GSEP) plans filed annually with the Mass. Dept. of Public Utilities (DPU) since CY 2015
- National Grid GSEP Reconciliation (GREC) reports filed annually with the DPU since CY 2015
- National Grid service quality annual reports (SQARs) filed with the DPU since CY 2014
- Weekly street opening plans distributed by City of Newton Dept. of Public Works since 2020
- Resident street surveys of infrastructure and DigSafe paint markings
- Leaks reported by National Grid to the DPU since June 2019
- Leaks measured by residents using calibrated equipment
